Technical explanation
The scrum office and it's employees are a meme created by chat members who used voice personas for the text-to-speech. Text-to-speech at the time had the technology to have many voice personas. That has later faded away as Thor changes his TTS system over time to ensure that his TTS system works on a massive growth community, and not to mention the many issues that the old TTS system had, like quality degrades after 2000 messages[1], which forced Thor to change his TTS system for good.
Chat at the time when the old TTS system existed was using the voice personas like the Witch, Winston, or GLaDOS, and primarily used them for office space memes and corporate meeting memes. The primary voice persona was known as Brian.
