Communal peeling

From Pirate Software Wiki

Communal peeling is a ritualistic tradition of ferrets.

When a ferret sheds its skin, it is not immediately disposed of. Instead, it is passed on to another ferret, who may wear it for an indefinite period of time before shedding it again. Communal peeling helps build a bond of trust between ferrets and is a common form of entertainment for them. They engage in the practice every 27 days, on average.
