Peanut and Hazel were rescued due to them having [https://pethelpful.com/exotic-pets/What-You-Need-To-Know-About-Waardenburg-Syndrome-in-Ferrets Waardenburg Syndrome] <ref>https://pethelpful.com/exotic-pets/What-You-Need-To-Know-About-Waardenburg-Syndrome-in-Ferrets</ref> and [[Thor]] could not leave him behind and alone as ferrets need social interactions. He also had half of his tail missing as you can see in the gallery below.
